Upon entering our office, our receptionist will welcome you as a member of our family! We will request that you complete our patient forms located in the New Patient Center. This paperwork provides us with information about you that is needed to fully evaluate your current health status and define your future health goals.
Next, you will have a one-on-one consultation with Dr. John Vatistas to discuss your health history and current concerns.
After your consultation, a complete chiropractic examination with an emphasis on neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical testing will be performed.
During the exam, we may take X-rays as well. X-rays help us develop the most effective treatment plan for you and can alert us of any serious health conditions.
Once all the information is collected and reviewed, Dr. John Vatistas will give you a detailed report of all findings and will present to you a personalized care plan focused on you attaining your goals. This is also the time where the following types of questions will be answered:
At the conclusion of this initial appointment, you can choose to experience your first chiropractic adjustment and additional therapies designed to speed up the healing process. These adjunctive therapies include but are not limited to stretching, ice/heat, therapeutic exercise, electric muscle stimulation for pain alleviation, and mechanical traction.
